Some thoughts.

I'm so inspired!~!

I love this day. HAHA. We had a "freakshow" kanina in legal research. Dean Ulan who is our professor ROCKS! haha... Favorite ko talaga sya, although he proclaims himself "god" inside the classroom. He is also our "guardian angel" *evil laugh*. Legal Research or legres is a subject wherein we (at least for me) are being trained to present oral arguments in such a way real lawyers do it. Nanggigisa sya at wala syang pakialam kung hiyain ka nya sa harap ng lahat. So, you really have to do your best. FUN talaga sya, although half of the time our prof simply RANTS. haha... I really enjoyed his class! The best class today. :D Seriously, nakaktuwa sya. Para kasing galit sya sa mundo... haha.. pero, grabe I so love him!!!!

So, the point of this entry is to make a note for myself which "specialization" I'd take after I become a lawyer (sana talaga :D I REALLY REALLY PRAY that I'LL BE ABLE TO MAKE IT)... so, ayun I want to concentrate on Family Law! haha. So far, my favorite subject is Persons and Family Relations. This subject has the highest number of unit in law school. It also constitutes a huge part of the bar exam. It is also the BEST subject ever (for me). FUN TALAGA SYA! The cases are super interesting. The textbooks are super duper easy read. HAHA. I think that if I choose to practice in this particular field, I would definitely end up totally absorbed in it because I simply love it!
Grabe. I've been using three textbooks plus a codal for this subject, not because we are required  to do so, but because I just want to. It's REALLY REALLY REALLY interesting. I cannot even reiterate enough my passion for this subject. HAHA.

Right now, I'm searching for the textbook by Sempio-Dy because I want to compare how he "attacks" the subject. So far, my favorite author is still Melencio Sta. Maria, Jr. He is also a professor at the Ateneo College of Law. If I get to see him, I'd really be thrilled. Masa-starstruck talaga ako. Ang galing kasi talaga nya, especially the Civil Code part of his book. The best yun! However, the Family Code part... medyo off na.. Anyway, Albano discussed the Family Code way better. Mas kaintindi-intindi. Although, that's only my personal opinion. Sana talaga I get to see and read Sempio-Dy's book na. HUHU. Anyway, Paras' book is like a notebook... naka-outline na dun lahat. So, if kapos na sa oras to really read, it is highly recommended to use Paras'r book. Although, it doesn't really appeal to me because the I like to process the information on my own. Neverthless, it's very helpful.

So, I've been blabbing about the different Persons textbooks. Wala lang. I love Persons and Family Relations talaga. It really caters to the human needs, human hearts and the like. It has th MOST interesting case. Pinakamadrama sya. It's like a gossip class. HAHA. Some cases are very telenovela-like. Madrama, nakakaiyak and totally unbelievable, but it's true.

Anyway, masyado lang talaga akong natutuwa sa Family Code Articles ngayon. As in super kadramahan to the nth level! DO YOU KNOW THAT THERE ARE SEVERAL ARTICLES in THIS CODE THAT PERTAINS TO MARRIAGES AT THE POINT OF DEATH? They are really interesting, especially if you see and feel the human emotions injected in them. HAHA.

Unlike Consti1 or Constitutional Law1, which by the way, I abhor (Ja'i horreur Consti!) Persons is a very likeable subject. I LOVE IT. TOTALLY.

Anyway, I have to stop this blabbing and start studying for MANTA RAY's class tomorrow (HAHA.) It's not me who gave h*r that nickname, it's my beloved blockmates.

I really am inspired... haha... high pa rin ako sa persons.

P.S..
Law students often carry their codals with them because they always have to memorize articles. People who aren't aware what a codal is, usually misktake codals as Bibles. BENTA LANG KANINA sa Fullybooked, napagkamalang Bible Codal ko. :D

Another anxiety attack?

Now I lay me down to study,
I pray to the Lord I don't go nutty
And if I fail to learn this junk,
I pray to the Lord I do not flunk.
And if I die, bury not at all,
Just lay my bones in the study hall,
And pile my books upon my chest,
And tell my profs I did my best.
So now I lay me down to rest,
And pray I pass tomorrow's test,
And if I die before I wake,
That's one less test I'll have to take.
